Short Review: Nerf Super Soaker Zombie Strike Revenge Zombinator (2017)

Brief review of the (2017) Nerf Super Soaker Zombie Strike Revenge Zombinator posted on iSoaker.com. This assault-rifle-like themed water blaster features three (3) nozzles that produce most parallel streams with every pump. Its top-mounted scope is purely ornamental and there is no way to adjust how many streams are produced. Some may find this water blaster fun for its role-playing elements, but its actual performance for larger water fights means this Zombinator is readily outclassed by larger pump-action water blasters and most air or elastic-pressure water blasters. At present, I have no further plans to remove this particular model from its packaging.

Short Review: Nerf Super Soaker Zombie Strike Revenge Infector (2017)

Brief review of the (2017) Nerf Super Soaker Zombie Strike Revenge Infector posted on iSoaker.com. This pistol-shaped pump-action water blaster has its Zombie Strike Revenge-themed styling, but offers no real surprises in its performance aspect. Okay for light skirmishes, this pump action water blaster is readily outclassed by larger pump-action water blasters and by most air or elastic pressurized water blasters.

Acquired: Nerf Super Soaker Dartfire

Also recently acquired the combination blaster known as the Nerf Super Soaker Dartfire by Hasbro Inc. Reminiscent of the old Nerf Switchshot series, the Dartfire can shoot both water and darts. Unlike the Switchshot blasters, the Dartfire can actually fire both at the same time, if desired. That said, I am not aware of any dart fights where water blasters were welcome, nor do I recall any water fights where anyone was worried about someone pulling out a dart blaster, either. The interesting thing is that the trigger serves a dual role; pulling it both launches the dart as well as rotates the barrel to bring the next dart into position (the added force needed for both actions explains by this trigger is larger and is meant to be pulled by two fingers as opposed to one).

Acquired: Nerf Super Soaker Zombie Strike Revenge Zombinator

Recently acquired one of the Nerf Super Soaker Zombie Strike Revenge Zombinator pump-action water blasters. New for 2017 by Hasbro Inc., so far with all the other 2017 Nerf Super Soakers seen, this one is also pump-to-blast, storing no pressurized water. However, though its front-panel graphic is somewhat misleading, the Zombinator fires three streams with every pump. More info to come…

Acquired: Nerf Super Soaker Hoverflood

At the same store I found the Floodinator, I also got my hands on a Nerf Super Soaker Hoverflood sprinkler device. I haven’t opened the box, yet, and won’t be able to meaningfully test this device until it gets significantly warmer outside since I’m sure the user will get wet trying to operate this thing. More info to come…

Acquired: Nerf Super Soaker Floodinator

Also recently found a Nerf Super Soaker Floodinator water blaster at a local store the other day. Picked it up, but being a simple pump-action water blaster, not sure I will do a full review on this particular model, yet. Interestingly enough, the reservoir and pump are accessible, so I will be able to measure a variety of statistics without needing to remove it from the box!  More info to come…

Acquired: Nerf Super Soaker Zombie Strike Revenge Infector

Recently managed to get one of these 2017 Nerf Super Soaker Zombie Strike Revenge Infector water blasters. While being a simple pump-action water blaster, it is actually larger than I thought it would be!

More pics and stats to come once I finish up reviews on some other recent water blaster acquisitions.

Soak on!

More Info on the Nerf Super Soaker HoverFlood (2017) found

Also found more info on the Nerf Super Soaker HoverFlood on Amazon. While we already knew it was a hovering sprinkler, these new images and video show how it hovers as well as the spraying pattern one expects from it. What was not as apparent until seeing the video was that its hose connector includes a controller to regulate water flow, thus allowing the user to semi-control how the HoverFlood flies. However, also based on the video, the length of the hose between the connector and the sprinkler-portion means that the user will get caught up in the spray as well. Well, I suppose that goes with the phrase “Leave NO one dry” – not even yourself!
