Review: Adventure Force: Power Raider @ iSoaker.com

A review of the Adventure Force Power Raider, manufactured by Buzz Bee Toys Inc., is now posted on iSoaker.com. In short, the Power Raider is a separate pressure chamber air-pressure water blaster that sports a 3-option nozzle selector and detachable red-dot scope. Stream power is decent, but shot times are short due to the small size of the pressure chamber.

Hands-On: Adventure Force: Power Raider

The Adventure Force: Power Raider is a private label water blaster made by Buzz Bee Toys Inc. for Walmart’s Adventure Force brand.

The Power Raider is a separate air-pressure chamber water blaster that features a removable “red-dot” scope. While the Power Raider’s pressure chamber is on the small-side, that also means it can be pressurized quickly. Streams are decent, albeit brief as well.

More information on the Adventure Force: Power Raider as more testing is completed.

The Changing Water Blaster / Water Gun Landscape

Posted an article on iSoaker.com to share my thoughts on: The Changing Water Blaster / Water Gun Landscape

Excerpt from the article:

However, one thing is for certain: the entire water blaster category’s footprint is shrinking in retail stores. I recall the days back in the 1980s and 1990s when, during spring, water blasters and water guns would occupy at least one entire side of a toy aisle (from 16′ to 24′, sometimes over 40′ of shelving space, floor to ceiling). Today, walking down the toy aisles, I would be lucky to find a water blaster section occupying 4′ or 8′ of shelf space with the remainder of the seasonal water toy aisle is now occupied by pool toys, beach toys, and other water play-related items.

Thoughts on Water Gun / Water Blaster Range Testing (2017)

Last weekend, I finally had time when Mother Nature was cooperating well enough to permit me to do some range testing on some of my newer water blaster acquisitions. As noted on iSoaker.com, range tests were completed for the Water Warriors Drench Force, Water Warriors Steady Stream X, Xshot Typhoon Thunder, Nerf Super Soaker DartFire, Nerf Super Soaker Zombie Strike Revenge Infector, Adventure Force Super Storm, and Adventure Force Hydro Blitz. For those interested in the various stats, please visit the specific water blaster model’s page of interest. Instead of merely listing results in this post, I want to share some of my other observations from the range tests. Continue reading “Thoughts on Water Gun / Water Blaster Range Testing (2017)”
